It''s unique microprocessor based controller ideally suitable for most waste water treatment plant with facility to control feed pump, blower, sludge pump and transfer pump. Each drive can be automatically switched over to its standby drive after a set time interval. An integral process mimic diagram with LED indicators along with a four line alphanumeric display ensures easy understanding of the status of operation of the plant. This controller can be easily integrated with panels of any capacity system and prove to be a cost effective solution over conventional PLCs.
Built in RS-485 output helps in logging the data electronically, which can be reproduced for the inspection or audit purpose

Automation Philosophy:-

• The Astero microprocessor based panels are ideally suited for the plants where automatic pump control is required as they have the complete operating logic of the process pre-programmed. The panels basically can take 4 inputs from the level switches and controls the two pumps, blower & drain valve. The advanced electronics also takes care of the required motor protection such as overload, dry running, and single phasing.

Operating Logic:

• Upon switching ON the power supply of the panel, the processor will start the air blower & check for equilisation tank level input. If the input is ON (open), then influent transfer pump will start & if clarified water tank level is ON (open) filter feed pump will start. After set service time (running of Air blower) sludge drain valve will open for the set time.
